Privacy Policy

After Midnight, We Collect Nothing
Midnight Garden is a nocturnal game of quiet beauty. Our privacy practices match that quietness. We collect almost nothing about your visit. What little we do receive โ standard server logs, described below โ is kept briefly and used only for infrastructure purposes. Your high score is stored in localStorage under the key mdng_best. It blooms in your browser alone. No one outside your device knows what score you achieved last night.
Server Logs and External Requests
Our server receives one HTTP request when you load Midnight Garden and logs the standard metadata: your IP address, browser string, timestamp, URL path. Retention: 30 days, then deleted. The Cinzel typeface is loaded from Google Fonts โ one CDN request. After that, the garden is quiet. No analytics platform runs background queries during your session. No advertising network harvests data from your visit. No push notification service asks for your subscription. Midnight Garden is a closed garden: serene, private, and self-contained.
Children, Rights, and Policy Updates
The midnight garden blooms for all ages. Midnight Garden is appropriate for children. We collect no personal data from any player. No parental consent required. If our data practices change, this policy will change first โ specifically, legibly, and with a revised effective date.
Your Data Rights
Players in jurisdictions with formal privacy rights โ including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and similar legislation โ may request information about data we hold. Because we retain only brief, anonymised server-access logs, such requests will ordinarily confirm that we hold no personal data linked to any individual. We respond within legally required timeframes. To submit a request, use the official Midnight Garden website or repository contact channel.
No Sale, No Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties for commercial purposes. If we were ever legally compelled to disclose server-log data โ for example, by a valid court order โ we would comply with applicable law. We would not do so voluntarily for commercial reasons, because we have no commercial relationship with any data buyer or broker.
